Nissans were regarded as some of the worst vehicles on the road by the mechanics who worked there (at least the post-Renault Nissans; earlier ones were ok), while Hondas were generally very problem-free, save for a few common problems that didn't really matter.

The early 00s Altima, for example, had over 100 service bulletins (aka, common problems), where a typical Honda or Subaru might have 20 or so. All Nissans have squeaks and rattles out the ass, which is why they give each dealer a "squeak and rattle kit" in answer to all of the squeaks and rattles that inevitably crop-up when under warranty.

My friend in hs years ago had an altima.... Lol maintenance/repairs were hell

Seemed like every month an early 00s Altima was getting a new engine under warranty. Something with catalytic converter material getting into the cylinder somehow.

how is honda winning? lol nissan shits on honda. Nissan owns infinity as well. Better quality cars. Hondas get stolen all the time and dont hold their value as well.
