You know something, many years ago I had a coin book where each year we would save quarters and put them in the book! We would hope to find the lucky year new quarters and place them in the book!

This is going back many years ago, but you just brought back that memory! I have no clue why we stopped, the book is perhaps in my garage somewhere buried underneath a box inside of another box.

I personally prefer to collect well save things I've knitted. Big fan of doing that in the regards of ''collecting/saving'' things, I guess it can be considered both.

Whenever we save up coins we just bring those to the bank as well! However I think original poster was referring to collectables in regards to saving them for a good cause. :d
