You're an idiot if you think how he appears on TV is anything like how he actually is, Trump knows how to put on a show.
The "opposing" media then misinterprets everything and makes facetious claims such as him being an idiot, making personal attacks on him "drumpf", highlighting things that he says on purpose "7/11" and all the other nonsense that is thrown around.

He actually is an idiot tho. Yes, he's putting on a show. Yes, it's successful. But being pretty damned familiar with his antics from the last few decades, I can definitely tell you without a doubt that the dude is an idiot. He's incapable of controlling himself and does dumb shit all the time because he wants to feed his ego and just can't help himself.

It just happens that there are a lot of mad racist idiots who wish that they could be just as openly racist and dumb as Trump is, so he's tapping into that anger and turning it into a fairly successful campaign.
