You say I have no obligation, but you seem to want to have some sort of impact on me, the fact that you are spamming my topic leaves no merit to what you are trying to say.

I'm simply saying I wish to discuss the story. I'm not sure whether you are trying to troll me, or that you are simply delusional.

Unlike most here I want to see you succeed in your dream.

I don't want to see you fail and I know you will at your current skill level.

I believe you can do better and I'd like to see a book on a shelf someday written by you, but that just won't happen until you stop playing the victim

I'm not trying to play the victim... I know my writing needs work, and I've even admitted that in the past. You can see that clearly in the last topic I posted about my writings.

I need practice, something I'm currently not doing, as I am lazy along with dealing with a new semester and a new job....

But this topic really has nothing to do with that....

...while I , on the other hand , believe that trying to teach you how to write is like trying to teach a pig to sing ; it not only sounds terrible but it annoys the hell out of the pig .

You seem to think that I want to learn about writing at this moment, and that you are the person I'd come to for advice on how to do so. You aren't, and neither is any of the party that seems to think so.

The last time I posted a paragraph or two of descriptive wriiting is because I wanted confirmation of the opinion I had of my writing, and it turns out as I was right, as you all had the same exact criticism as I did of the passage I posted.

But seriously, if I wasn't such a talkative person I'd of just of ignored all of your pointless posts and probably continued on with doing my spanish homework..... I probably should get back to that.

I think they're providing constructive criticism on your choice of words and phrases

They are, but it has nothing to do with what I wanted to address, and it is also something I do not agree with.

how do you feel about the idea that interactions and relationships with others is a necessary sacrifice in order to succeed artistically?

I don't really agree with it. To me it sounded as if St. George was doing some unnecessary whining due to him losing the love in his relationship(At least this is what I perceived). His proof of joy and feeling of freedom of his wife dying only proves that. If it was draining on his time, perhaps, but it seems that only the quality of his work dwindled. I don't think his writing could be influenced completely and only by him getting married and having a family, as time wasn't a factor.

Paul was just ate it up because St. George was his idol.
