Because I don't want him to be in direct contact with some of the folks on here who literally are some of the most reprehensible people I ever met.
Take that 6inchturkey guy for example.
If my nephew were to be in contact with him and get bullied it would just be something I would not want.
It's because of folks like that who like to be cyber thug bullies and troll with evil intent.
My nephew Ernie has a hard enough time in school and should not have to deal with that kind of nonsense. He is bullied enough every day in school, he shouldn't have to endure it online as well.
He himself has asked me if he could make an account on here and I try and convince him that we are only allowed one account per home and what not.Which I actually have spoke to users and they told me you can have another account on here if you were to ask administration member of staff. Which I won't bother doing any how because I don't want my nephew on here to be exposed to such scrutiny.
I am sure you can understand where I am coming from.
I am carefully selective in what I let my nephew Ernie read. I show him and point out which threads and comments I deem okay to read.
