The 'cold hard proof' is there for anyone who looks for it. Evolution is a fact. It is accepted as fact in every scientific field and by all scientists who are not YECs.

The theory of evolution and the phenomenon of evolution are tweo different things. The theory attempts to explain the phenomenon and while there may be gaps in the theory (few and far between I may add) there are no gaps in the phenomenon. It happens. It is an undeniable fact of our reality.
