I had a job at a fast food place for about 3 and a half years and I actually loved it, maybe i'm biased because I was 17 and it was my first job , but it was pretty awesome. when you think fast food jobs it's either a cashier type thing or a cooking sort of a job. mine was niether. I was working 8-4 monday to friday and it was all laid out before me. Nobody bothered me, manager had enough trust in me that she didn't care what i was doing , as long as i was there because she knew it would all be done at the end of the day.
Typical day for me went something like this..

Starting at 8, I would spend a half to 2 hours outside cleaning up from the night before, mowing the lawn, picking up garbage and crap, and in the winter shoveling the snow. We didn't open up until 11 so there was nobody around at that point anyways.

Coming in i would make 50-100 pounds of different salads every other day or so, and clean up the entire basement.

Pick up the slack around upstairs as people went on break around lunch time,

preparethe frozen food to be cooked that evening before I went home.

4 times a week there were loads of stock that came in on 3 different trucks. Manager left me all the paper work, i had to count it all , offload it off the truck, and put it all away downstairs, easily drained about 2-3 hours a day.

the days flew by, and honestly, i didn't mind it all, those 3 and a half years flew by. I made so many coffee runs for everybody and managers didn't even care. whenever somebody needed ANYTHING from the basement they would just tell me to get it, and i didn't mind, it was funny how my manager would actually say, need anything from downstairs ask Cory.. even to the people who were getting trained

only thing I regret is eating and drinking so damn much. everything was free, i easily ate 1500 + Calorie lunches every day, and like 2-3 liters of soda. looking back now I wish i just stuck to water // eating healthier. I got up to about 165, when I started i think i was 135-140 ish. I'm about 5'8. around a month ago I stopped drinking soda all together and overall being more healthy. I was 165 about a month ago and now i'm about 148-150 feeling great :D

and you forgot what happens in the slaughter factory when they accidentally cut the stomach of a cow and feces spray all over the place.

I am well aware of what happens in industrial farms and slaughterhouses that supply fast food restaurants and most everywhere else in the USA. Have you seen the film Food Inc?

I want to add to my other post about saturated fats, coronary heart disease, and heart attacks (cheese burgers!). Eating a little bit of cheese burger once in awhile isn't really bad for people. But eating it in the amount you did is comparable to poisoning yourself. Eating that much saturated fat in a single day overloads your liver by so much and all that extra fat basically ends up in your blood where it does very bad things :(
