Anybody that has ever done any training with a pack knows your story is utterly bull shit, which leads me to believe not only are you a wannabe armchair warrior, but that you've never even trained a day in your life.

No, it doesn't "happen" You don't even run with a 35 pound pack, you open your stride and walk fast. Running makes the ruck bounce, bouncing a 90 pound pack on your back is an injury waiting to happen. I wouldn't run with a 35 pound pack
