If you had posted that you got married and invested heavily into a retirement account, nobody would give a shit. The amounts that you're talking about aren't high, but the manner in which they're presented makes you come off as one who wants us to think that they are.
The first couple pages of this this thread were nothing but congratulations, questions, and snarky remarks about marriage being for suckers. Pretty good, really, but you can't expect your often shitty personality and lack of tact to not follow you into your threads. Assuming the victim role when that happens is whack.
