So much confusion on what a theory is. A theory isn't just a hunch that something may be true like it's used outside of science. In science, a theory is something which has been supported by evidence and in the case of evolution not only did it withstand peer-review, but also the test of time by making accurate predictions of what we would find in future scientific discoveries. Things like DNA evidence which was later discovered, adds to the support of the theory of evolution.




So you think there's some sort of cap on "micro evolution" where all those small changers over a few billion years couldn't amount to large changes?

...well , I actually accept the theory of evolution but then I come to GC and see posters like you two and I think " heck , I've seen smarter apes in the zoo " and I begin to question it .

Though it's also plausible that creationism isn't entirely wrong either.
Something somewhere at some point had to be created in order to make a living thing (most likely single celled bacterium)
Leads to evolution via micro-evolution, amassing changes become the dawn of new species over a bajillion years.

Idk, it's a thought.
Obviously neither are concrete, and I find religious theories have far more holes in them than generally accepted scientific theories (for a reason) but who am I to say some form of both isn't possible?
