I grew up poor as fuck, in a mostly aboriginal government housing complex in basically an australian ghetto, my friends growing up were mostly aboriginal and all darumbal, i went to their events cause they were fun, i support them because they always supported me, my aunt marie was also darumbal and i was very close with her.
I made my wealth through hard work, it was not generational, my father struggled with chronic fatigue and later cancer and was unable to work, he died in 2004 and i moved out, kicked my drug addictions and went to workin the mines, i broke my back for years to climb up out of the gutter but i didn't forget my friends who were still there, though this time i rarely have contact with anyone outside of facebook.

There you have it, my whole life story.
