it depends on the age of the ct scanner and if contrast isotopes are injected or not
my wife had 2 in sydney (RNS) first ~2 min with contrast = very bad feeling afterwards
second ~2 min without contrast (which is just as good really as we found out) = not that bad
then one in new zealand ~15 min (old equipment) = very very bad
three in france, ~15 seconds each, not much trouble
one more after we came back to australia ~15 seconds as well
plus a few mris which depending at what is scanned for are just as good or even better than cts
and don't have such a bad impact

I have vomited twice since my last post, but aside from that i am fine lol.


Was with contrast.
Brand new CT machine but needed in depth lung scan took 3 minutes.
I have had 2 mri's a pet a ct scan and am getting another mri.

with all these scans and radiation what super powers are you hoping for?

there are good prescription anti-vomiting tablets around, but they are ~A$7.50 a pop
can't recall the name but they are available in australia

I take quells for seasickness when going outside on rough days, might try one.
