You can probably find various places all throughout Texas that make the best something in terms of a barbecue specialty. Imagine if you could put together an entire meal with a little bit of the best (combine it all). LOL, you would have a dream team meal.

Wash it down with the best watermelon drink. Many of the barbecue places in Texas have their own watermelon drink recipes that they grow themselves from their own watermelon harvest and ranches. I've been to the smallest towns in Texas (population under 20,000) and they serve up some amazing barbecue and watermelon drinks.

I'm like in disbelief! Some very small towns that can't even put together a competitive district football team (not enough athletes - they play 7-on-7 instead), which high school football is King in Texas, but they can still barbecue with the best of them.

The smaller the Texas town the greater the barbecue and watermelon drinks you will find. LOL

i feel like i'm missing out now cuz i've never had any of our Watermelon drinks before!

i mean, i've had Watermelon drinks but not anything that the Farmers grow themselves! the best time for Texas BBQ is in the peak of the summer imo and the best i've had to drink was homemade Lemonade from Petty's BBQ!
