What prestigious university did you attend that taught you the incorrect usage of than/then, the misspelling of beginning, and that the word literally can be used synonymously with "I think"?

He is one of the special children who decided to smoke and drink instead of learning. No wonder he has that view on the situation

It probably wasn't the same university that taught that being an arrogant prescriptivist who thinks that a couple of obvious autocorrect mistakes and using the word 'literally' in a popular fashion as an intensifier means that someone's uneducated, but it could have been. Fingers crossed?

Of course, if you were capable of reading carefully enough to note that he didn't so much misspell the word 'beginning' as accidentally substitute the word 'begging' which is an actual word, you might have figured this out sooner and avoided looking both arrogant and ignorant. Better luck next time. Your Uni really should have taught you to read more closely. :(

Lol so the complete misuse of a word is okay if every vapid idiot on twitter uses it that way makes it grammatically correct now?

I didn't need my 'uni' to teach me what a thesaurus or dictionary could in 5 seconds.
