He did for 5 years. Stupid quote, "friends don't let friends drive drunk" - he didn't stop him from getting in a car irritated high as shit on the pills he gave him. This is my only question, I don't give a shit about anything else you have to say.

Yeah, this is the route I went after I apologized to him for my words. He basically just tried to make me feel bad for him after my apology, and I just told him to quit xanax if he actually cared. Then still went off looking for sympathy, and all his "thug" friends are threatening me still. Meh

Yes, you did something wrong.

I doubt you can fix it as easily as you broke it, frankly. You can apologize and tell the dude that you were really upset and lashing out because you're grieving and hope that there can be some healing that starts as a result of it, or you can keep flipping out and acting like a drug addict taking drugs is someone else's fault.
