I expect next-gen cards to outperform the previous gen , especially considering the 970 is a meme card with 3.5gb of vram

Yup, pretty much on par with the 980, from what I saw, with less power draw to boot.

Then again, it's Sakuraba, so he's probably only pretending to be dumb which is the best troll

ASUS/MSI/EVGA GTX 1060 overclocked would be my pick. Though personally I'd aim for a 1070.

Never said it doesn't, if I'm to buy a new GPU, I'll go with a 1070 ^^

I'm only gaming at 1080p right now, so I'm good currently.
