Get a can of coca cola, drink 1/2 of it in a short period of time (like under 5 minutes) and it should make you feel sleepy because of the high dose of sugar in the short period of time. The caffeine in it that kicks in later should make it easier for you to wake up early. I use this trick all the time whenever my sleep schedule is fucked.

No meds, usually just pray and lay there. If I can't still go to sleep, I'll watch tv till I fall asleep.
