I've actually literally never been in a strip club at all. I have no problem with sex workers because I'm not sad and repressed, but I've never had any particular need to go. I'm sure I will at some point in my life just for the experience, but it'll have to be a pretty remarkable set of circumstances at this point.

How does it feel to have to make up fake assumptions about someone because your arguments for why we should shame people and consider them sexually deviant are so bad? :(

I think that women being able to make choices like grown ups and take advantage of our society's obsession with objectifying women is okay. It's not super great and it'd be awesome if the objectification thing was a bit less, sure, but pinning the blame on someone who's smart enough to make money on the situation is like blaming someone salvaging materials from ground zero for 9/11.

I think that the way that we objectify women as a society is problematic and something that we should address. I don't think that women who decide that they're going to take advantage of the situation are at fault for the situation, though.
