When trying to pick up a girl, always start the conversation with a compliment. you could always talk about Pop culture - like what movies or tv, music -celebrities she likes. Most girls like to read books - so you can ask her what she is reading. Also you can talk about her career , her goals, what she likes, her family.
Hint - write down her family so you can reference it later - girls are impressed when you know their family. You can also talk about yourself. Keep the conversation light and funny, girls like to laugh more than anything, make jokes , ironic comments.
