That does make sense, yet I do not find it disrespectful.

I do see the hierarchy and it does make sense, yet I don't believe in it. We are all equals when it really comes down to it. We're all sinners. I put everyone on the same level playing field and do not put anyone on a pedestal.

That being said, I also do not idolize any one person.

We are all equal once we are adults, as a child/dependent we are subject to the whims of our family and should thus be respectful towards them.

genetically it's pretty much impossible to connect with step parents the same way we would with our biological parents.

Now that I am an adult, they still preferably would rather me call them by their titles.

I also see things differently as I extended the first name basis to everybody. Some little kids do call me by my first name and I'm completely fine with that.

I do.

I am a first name basis kind of person, extending to EVERYBODY. If you disagree with calling your parents and grandparents by their first name, I'd like to know why we call them by that title in the first place and not by their real names.

Why is this the case?

I say mom, momma, and mamadukes

It may change in due time, wait until you reach adulthood and your mindset completely changes.

lol trust me, I have/want absolutely nothing to do with my mom. I know all about that shit.
But, she's still my mother, and you shouldn't do anything to hurt them/put them down.
Just my opinion on things
