And for those of us who didn't have to get help from daddy, yeah, the process is a bit different.

Luckily we were able to just use a conventional loan so I think we only had to wait like 2 weeks. I'd imagine the FHA stuff has a lot to do with it. It's all to the better, though, coz it just means that the place will be in tip-top shape for absolute certain.

So then you really have no clue what buying a house from a stranger consists of. Congrats on acceptance op. Hope it goes smooth for ya the rest of the way. Bought my house the same way. Fha loan 3.5% down and yes alot of things can come into play when buying a house.
