That is a bad analogy.

The United States of America doesn't have a contract with candanadia and mexico to protect each other because they each lack military power.

All of EU is weak so they need friends to protect each other.

I live in the u.s

In the short term, economy would take a serious beating, with alot of companies having no choice but to pick up and move, literally taking 100's of billions of $$ out of that economy. That 1000's of jobs being lost. Besides the revenue that huge corps bring in.

The long term? Who the fuck knows. Could end up being the worst or best choice ever made. In the short term though you guys be pretty fucked for a bit.

Good luck, hope it works out for you guys either way.
