Any job for that matter. It's unprofessional and if someone worked for me and within the first month they called in I'd tell them there's no need to come back.

I wouldn't pay it, I doubt they're going to try and take you to court over $28.

I just called off my second day coz my tire went flat and there was nowhere to fix it late on a Sunday. Rekt.

That's a shitty attitude that you can't even have any consideration for others. It's one thing to take off for dumbass reasons, but people DO get sick and deaths DO happen.

I'll miss days but like 2 a year, but I'm never late. If I'm not there by clock in time I'm not coming.




That does happen. But you're better going in and being sent home. Make the effort. It's not an every day all the time thing. But for the first 2-3 months you have to know you're being judged on everything you do.

As far as deaths, I've never worked anywhere where that's not excused. You just can't be going to your friends grandma's funeral. It's a direct family thing. Just bring in a funeral card and there's never a problem.

i think i've missed like 4 days this year. 3 were sick calls and 1 was a day i asked off to study for a test

i think they are very lenient on me, i do a good job in the sales department
