Interesting that I stumbled upon the same question in your other topic. The answer is - yes.

There are cases where teens/young adults have been successfully charged and added to the sex offenders list for having and possibly distributing pictures of them self under legal age.

It gets even more interesting when you consider the laws in some countries whereby you can LEGALLY have sex, but cannot legally sext pictures. For example a 16 years old couple can bone each other senseless. But a quick pic of the guys own junk... Illegal... And would have him branded as a sexual criminal for life.
