I've actually calculated the cost of running it in previous years, based on my kilowatt-hour cost and the wattage of the AC unit (there is calculators online for this). And I've seen the reflection on my power bill in previous years. It's not a high BTU unit (it's made for 1 room and i keep the door closed). It only costs 48 cents per 12 hours of running it. It adds about $15 to my power bill.
