I haven't had downtime on my comcast for longer than 2-3 hours. And this happens maybe once a year. In nj my uptime on my comcast was 4 years at one point.

The only problem comcast has is poor customer service. Their actual services are untouchable

I had AT&T Uverse but now I live in a new area where there's only Comcast.

It's been excellent so far and haven't had any issues.

With Comcast, you can buy your own modem but with AT&T, you have rent it and there's no option to buy one. The AT&T modem with built in router is basic. They charge like $5-7/month. They decided to copy Comcast in renting out equipment.

With AT&T Uverse, you have a 250 GB bandwidth cap. With Comcast in my area, I have no bandwidth cap.

I only have internet, since I don't watch TV anymore.

to be fair there probably is a cap, I know mine is 250gb, but they don't enforce it at all. I used like 6 tb's one month lol, they sent me a notice informing me of the cap. But my usual usage is 2tb per month and they don't care. Seems like as long as your usage is linear you are good
