Many genres listed are subgenres of other genres.

Alternative is "normal" apparently, but I don't think Dream Pop is that normal in most people's eyes.

yeah you're right, they obviously can't fit every subgenre though and dream pop probably isn't big enough by itself

But according to this, I'm everything. I'm a bit of normal, a bit of hardcore, a bit of elite, a bit of housekeeper. Just everything.

Experimental: dEUS, Radiohead and Pink Floyd are the most famous ones I listen to. Not nearly all of their music is experimental (especially Pink Floyd is a bit too mainstream to be considered for that label), but some of it is quite "out there".
Releases:
- Pink Floyd - Ummagumma
- Radiohead - The King of Limbs
- dEUS - Theme from Turnpike

Drone: "Hallogallo" by NEU! or "Sighing, Seething, Soothing" by Kiss the Anus of a Black Cat are good examples.

Edit: I can also give you examples of music I listen to in all the other categories (outsider, "that guy", radical, etc) if you want. It should be noted that music is my #1 passion in life, and I listen to it pretty much whenever I can. :)
