It is legal throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom to drive barefoot.

That's because the several people you know either works in the city (manhattan) where metro transit is accessible while my workplace is near the airport and the nearest train station takes me 3hours to reach or I can drive there in 30minutes.
It's not because I drive because I want to show off. It's necessary
