Rapid fire can be cool, I prefer the single shot bolt guns for maximum accuracy with a take your time and make each round count.

Since you have a 357 revolver, you should complete the pairing with a 357 lever gun carbine if you don't have one already cowboy style!. What model s&w did you go with? What length barrel and how is it groupings for you. I find 357 recoil to be a bit much for plinking and range time.
