US carriers generally have three CIWS mounts. If you check my edit, carriers never operate alone, and AEGIS cruisers or destroyers would take those missiles down before they even got in range of the Phalanx guns.

im saying that our technology is fuckin garbadge right now its not like our energy weapons are gonna be some starwars like shit, its just a heat lazer pointer more then anything its lame it takes like 10 seaconds for it to melt through like a 1 inch aluminum thing not fast enough if you wana implement it into war
