why do gay people talk so much about their sex lives? why does so much of your identity have to reflect your sexual preferences?? Why get a short haircut (woman) or talk with a lisp (man) just so that people can know EXACTLY what you like to do in the bedroom even if it's none of their business and they don't want it to be?

Why do gay people like you constantly talk about your relationships/sex lives? Do you realize that most people don't do this, regardless of sexual preference?

Or does being gay have to define who you are?

Basically just be cool about being gay and stop being such a fag about it, it doesn't define who you are.

Has never met a gay person in real life, obviously.

dude i've been friends with lots of gay people. seriously some gay dudes and i have been tight (nh) and i thought they were cool as shit, but always wanted to ask a gay person about this, because aloooot of them do it. by "do it" i mean sexualize life and bring the whole "gay" thing into nonsexual parts of life constantly

maybe being gay has a lot to do with rebelling against gender roles and i'm just not getting it?

People who aren't uncomfortable with their sexuality tend to be open with it. You should try it sometime.
Most of my lesbian friends are a 10 on anyone's scale, including a gay male's.
Most of my gay friends don't talk with a lisp. The one that does, doesn't talk with it intentionally, he just can't talk without one - and I don't mean the stupid faggotry-filled lips you're referring to. That's not a lisp, it's a mask for gay people who aren't comfortable enough with themselves to be themselves.
