Yes, paid $600 if I remember correctly. As a rifle, I'm not much of a rifler, but it handles nicely, easy to clean, pretty basic first rifle.

im thinking about buying my first rifle and considering this

any one here own it and have a review ?

also what did u pay for it

depends what you are doing with it. With the exception of some mechanical issues guns are only as good as those who use them. Also remember that like every machine one buys they are bound to have an issue at one time or another (be it a broken fireing pin (which I believe typically need to be changed out somewhere in the 9-10k round area)). But yes it would be a fine rifle for hunting. However If you are just looking for something to shoot I would go with ruger 10/22. Cheap on ammo and a lot of customization and mods for them.

This would be a reason to vote yes on the gun forum I am trying to get passed by the way. link is in my sig

I would love to get my hands on a mosin nagant. Or anyother rifle from ww2. I hear it is hard to get good working ones. true?

do you use http://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/default.aspx

also to the op, I would recommend you use http://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/default.aspx as well.

I seem to not be able to find ww2 items very well on that site though.
