It's not bad if you're just looking for some light entertainment.

He 'poisoned' him to find out if it was something revolationary, he waited for his approval beforehand, asked if he was willing to do whatever it takes to... iirc, so collateral damage, no big deal. On the other hand he was clearly very concious emerging from because isolation maybe.

The archeologist might just got childlike excitement, balsyness, wanted to go extreme maybe after being in kind of coma.

If you like Alien, you'll probably like Prometheus. If you haven't seen Alien, but you populate a gaming forum, you'll still probably like Prometheus.

I heard it was pretty good. I'm waiting for better quality to be available online though.
