Well in 3ds max, you get 3d space, in which you create from scratch (or import a .obj file [model]) and rig it with bones.
I've been in school for 3ds max for a few years.

That's my shit though. Creating/thinking are my strong points.

I was thinking a mission hill. Type of animation. 2d like southpark and family guy meets it with a bit more detail

hit me up i can try n help u with basic 3ds max
i def am not newb with it at all, but if i were to animate something it'd look like a 12 yr old did it-
can make levels and scenes, objects and shit- animating is a whole nother story

U can draw my ass off. Just need the software to get it together. I'm sure ima have to buy a book or two. But that's np.
If matt and Trey can pull it off. Ill be fine. Tired of waiting. Have a couple seasons worth of materials and need to at least get a pilot done.

That looks legit. Can I actually go into animating with that program? Idea on cost n shit.

the program is 3500 dollars retail
yeah, you can animate with it- you'll probably need to go to school for it to understand the UI

Well what about other programs? Cheaper. I don't know anything about this kind of thing
