If someone said I had biscuits and beans for dinner and I said you had bread and beans for dinner would I be correct in that statement.

Biscuit is a small round cooked twice bread.

Bread is bread. A loaf of bread, pizza bread, and a subway type bread. Those are bread.

Hamburger buns and hot dog buns are bread too, but we refer to them as buns.

Biscuit = biscuit.
Bread = bread.
Bun = bun.
