Anime rules the world. Anime sells better than any other genre. Wanna bet? Go to Japan, go look online, 75%+ titles in a movie store are anime/animated/manga/hentai. Majority consumers are 13-25 girls, most like the cartoon girls. If you don't like anime, blow me.

What's not to like? The fact that they torture sane (or insane in my case) innocent people by running these shows. Each episode is the same fucking thing on Inuyasha. Anime is so fucking bland, and I can't believe people watch that shit. (It's your right to enjoy it, it's your horrible taste in television, your opinion, so I can't insult you for thinking that way.) Inuyasha has the same droll IDIOT plot in every episode. I used to watch that show to fall asleep when I was wired, and any of my friends can vouch for me on that.

1) They recap the previous episode
2) They walk to a point of interest
3) Some dumbass knock-off of a "bad guy" appears
4) Inuyasha does his same dumbass moves
5) Kagome gets hurt, the creators play the "Inuyasha saying 'kagome!'" sound file again
6) The enemy dies (or flees for a later episode of utmost ENJOYMENT) when Inuyasha is IMBUED WITH THE POWER OF HIS HALF HUMAN HEART
7) Inuyasha and Kagome refuse to face their feelings for each other

Rinse and repeat. I don't know why the fuck you would rinse, because who would jack off to something that BAD? (I could think of a few.) The vast majority of anime (and you can't deny this) is just teenagers or some minority group (If it were illegal mexicans talking like naggarz i'd watch it) saying some cliche phrase followed by obnoxious laughter and weird faces supposed to portray SOME expression but failing miserably and making a clown instead.

Hellsing is the only "anime" series I like, and I fucking love it. As for Adult Swim... Family Guy (and sometimes Futurama). Fuck the rest. If you want to watch 13 year old animated girls bathing for 50 seconds in a 30 minute show, just watch Hentai instead. That's the only reason I could think of for people watching such bland shit. ("oh my god ___ is so hot on ___")

There's about 4 typos in that post, too. ANYWAY, swords and battles, what's not to like? The fact that it's never just swords in the battles. It's always some kind of blue diarrhea spraying out of someone's hand whenever a battle scene (and it's really fucking rare that a scene is longer than a minute without a commercial break, unnecessary dialogue, or reluctance to attack. I want to see someone's skin getting ripped off their fucking face in a split second.) happens to appear.

i hate to say tom goes to the mayor is horribly bad, the commercials are better, but involves beastiality, and other gross stuff.

i usually watch futurama (find it funny), family guy (pretty funny), inuyasha (like the show), athf, its ok and funny, blue gender (found it great), fooli cooly which is great, full metal alchemist, case closed (liked it for some reason), ghost in the shell: stand alone complex is simply cool, lupin the 3rd, big o, kikaider, mission hill, trigun, venture brothers, wolf's rain, robot chicken, and cowboy bebop
