Hey. Asking for a buddy of mine since i cant find it anywhere online.

He's having problems with Pokemon GO and we think its related to his software on his phone.

I have a S6 and my version is Marshmellow 6.0.1 and he has the exact same phone as me but his is on Lollipop 5.1 and it's telling him that his phone has the latest update installed when he went to check for updates.

Heard that it's rolling out piecemeal to android users so some folks still don't have it, though I heard that yesterday and can't say how accurate it still is tonight.

He might have hardware defects. The game runs fine on Lolipop 5.1 and 5.0.

Not having any issue so far
