I don't mean that you are an expert, but what are some things that you know well enough so that you could at least instruct others to the intermediate level?
Knowledge is valuable and I thought it might be fun to talk about ourselves a little bit. I'll start with a few of mine.

Music: I play guitar, drums, piano, and bass. I could easily teach people to the point where they could play in a group.
Physics: three semesters of teaching experience, B.A. in physics. I love science and math and love to help others understand it.
problem solving: I have spent a long time studying the process of problem solving. This includes taking multiple viewpoints, establishing goals, and defining effective strategies.
exercise and physical health: I have developed my own system of exercising that has tremendously improved my personal health. Also healthy eating.

I'm sure that as a group we know a lot of things. Sometimes stress of life and whatnot make it hard to communicate these things or we just get busy/distracted with other things.

ever spend entire days not giving a fuck?
It's not fun, and not particularly good for the mind, but I'll be damned if it doesn't feel right in the moment.

One time I gave such a little fuck that I just took off from work and left all my shit undone. Got in no trouble and nobody came looking for me lol

where does your knowledge in these subjects come from?
I am sadly terrible at optics considering my background.
i'd like to learn more about it, but my time as an undergrad was spent just barely getting by, so some subjects like optics got looked over

I have multiple degrees in physics and chemistry, and do research in optics and photonics now.

but honestly I hate teaching, so I wouldn't want to instruct anyone else, but I could if I had to

I also dabble in laser physics and quantum mechanics when I get bored
