Hey my friends! Johnathan here back with another topic, and this is my topic for today. :D ;) XD

Earlier today I was eating some steak that my brother in law barbecued for us, he was home earlier from his job and cooked for us. :D ;) XD

Well Gloria was cooking rice and I personally prefer my steak with rice.

Paulie is the one who does the barbecuing, any other cooking inside in regards to stove or oven is done by myself or Gloria.

Anyway, I am a big fan of both rice and pasta! However I am rather curious.. Which do you folks prefer?
Perhaps folks may prefer just rice? Perhaps folks may prefer just pasta? Or perhaps you are like me and only prefer it with specific meals! :D ;) XD

I honestly cannot choose which one I like better because I feel I enjoy them with Specific meals.

But then I have my sister Gertrude who actually is not really much of a fan of rice.. And she by far prefers Pasta.
My nephew Ernesto is just like me, he prefers pasta and rice with specific meals.
So yeah I have folks in my family who either prefer one over the other, or with specific meals.

Anyway guys, what about you? Do you prefer one over the other? Or dislike one or what?

Perhaps which do you like better? Or equally as good and prefer both as long as it is with specific meals! :D ;) XD
So you have my vote, I am curious to hear of others on here. :D ;) XD

For instance, I need my pasta with my meatballs! I could not eat any sort of meatballs with sauce and rice! Only time I prefer rice with meatballs is if I am having turkey soup! And those are turkey meatballs etc.

So yeah, I think you folks get my point!

Anyway let me know my friends! :D ;) XD

Depends on the meal rice can go with anything but pasta works better for some things

I do like adding rice to my taco meat tho the rice seems to hold the seasoning better

For meatballs I agree kinda Swedish meatballs with rice instead of pasta is actually really good

pasta really only good with beef like noodle soup with carrot, or with alfredo or tomato sauce.

I completely agree my friend, we share the same opinion in that regard! :D ;) XD

Rice in my honest opinion goes with less options. I to also feel our pasta can go with more choices in regards to meals.

So yes I agree with you Steve my friend.

Well said my friend, I love a bit of that as well at times. :D ;) XD

I may one day take a trip to an Oriental Store that isn't too far but a bit far from me. It's some drive but maybe one day I shall pick up some rice noodles from their shop! :D ;) XD

Italian pasta cooked al dente is pretty awesome.
But it's kinda fattening if you eat too much.

Rice take a lot of practice to cook right, my neighbor is Indian and his wife make rice incredible.
It's a real art form.

Well Mr. O my good friend. Spaghetti and meatballs is my favorite food of all time. So does that answer your question? I enjoy pasta and chicken too, cooked chicken marinara style. But I also like chicken and rice. I like rice with my Mexican style dishes and my Chinese style dishes.

Basically, rice goes with some dishes. Noodles go with some dishes.
