Over the past few months I've been trying to learn Russian
I've familiarized myself with common words and can string together a fair bit of conversation
And I've got the cyrillic alphabet memorized
It seems very definitive in comparison to Spanish and french which seems to have tons and tons of conditions in their language

I was wondering if anyone else is bi/polylingual
When did you learn your second language and how hard was it to learn / how much time did you spend learning before you considered yourself flueny

What made you wanna learn it

I really wish that learning a 2nd language was a more core part of my education, but it wasn't really. Basic Spanish is as close to a 2nd language as I've gotten. Definitely open to trying to pick up another language or two once I'm out of school finally.

I speak English and Spanish.

I learned some basic stuff in High School and the remaining I've just accumulated from the workplace. (Still learning more daily)

The decision to learn Spanish was made because of where I live.

Also, not hard to learn.

I learned some spanish a few years ago. I've never really had to use it. If I had to learn a language just for the hell of it I'd pick german just so I could yell at people in german.
