Simple topic for folks because I am rather curious on this one. :D ;) XD

How often do you folks have your property taken care of?

Our lawn is mowed a few times a month, probably around three times at the most!

So what about you folks?

We don't want the grass to get to high because some times we have our pets outside, and usually ticks hang in the grass and what not.

So we have the lawn taken care of around three times a month. :D ;) XD

Well I guess this is a simple topic, it was on my mind. I figured maybe folks may want to share how many times they have their front/back yard done. :d ;) XD

Hope everyone's been well, I've been okay myself. Can't really complain. :D ;) XD

Well do share my friends! :D ;) XD

Every Wednesday. They don't even complain if I miss picking up the dog poop.

So I see! So far folks who have posted have basically implied it is quite often as well. :D ;) XD

Well glad to hear that my friends. :D ;) XD

I always prefer to keep the lawn cut short this way we can avoid ticks on our dogs and what not.

Plus if we wear shorts we don't want sometimes these bee's hide in the grass. Rather not get stung! :D ;) XD

Once a year, we take a brush hog to the back. Leaving the front untouched for now, waiting on the local water board to let us in a program to pay us for putting in drought resistant places, though we have planted some blackberries and whatnot

If you don't want bees, put a few marigolds around the outside of the house. Bees (and several other pests) don't like the smell of marigold.

We're actually setting up a really nice garden near the chicken coop, but I suspect this may be that whole 'two countries separated by a common language' thing.
