Cut down on carbs, sugar (just less), fried food and take away foods. Eat more smaller meals each day (balanced healthy diet)

Cardio exercises, walk/run a lot . Been there done that :)

You don't have to kill junk food all together just don't eat it regularly. Every once in a while its perfectly find to reward your efforts and "cheat"

Also very NB, enjoy your food. You don't have to suffer and eat greens like a rabbit. You can eat healthy and still make food you'll really like.

Lastly when you break your meals down (eg: 6 smaller meals instead of 3 massive ones) eat the most in the morning and least at night at least 2 hrs b4 you go to bead.

that's totally inaccurate and false information. Consuming 1000, 750 and 500 calories as meals is exactly that same as 500, 750, 1000 (for breakfast, lunch and dinner). You're getting 2250 calories. If you're taking in 9*250 calorie meals, it's still 2250 calories. To lose a pound per week, you need to eat or burn 500 calories under your maintenance caloric intake. Maintenance caloric intake is the quantity of calories you need to take in a day to maintain your current weight with your current activities. Carbs and proteins are 4 calories per gram, while fat is 9 calories per gram. You need your caloric intake to be around 30% carbs, 40% proteins and 30% fat. With a 2250 caloric maintenance level, you would be eating around 170g of carbs, 225g of protein and 75g of fats a day.

Remember, losing weight is about 80% in the kitchen and 20% in the gym.
