He is disabled.
He can hardly walk without his walker. His legs got tapped with a bat at age of 14 now 20 and living in a foster home his dream is to find a job so he can get his own place.
Any suggestion for someone with essentially no legs on where to get a job?
He asked me for help since hes not very mobile and he has no phone or access to a phone or internet.
He lives in Eugene, Oregon

I was a manager at a call center for a few years. That was my first thought tbh. I guess the only reason I thought it might be bad is hes not very well spoken and if I was his manager I wouldn't want him working for me. He is so determined that I think he could make it work and I could obviously help him through it. Call centers often give you spelling test and idk if he can pass that either. It's worth a shot though!

Definitely going to be his best bet. There are just so many call centers out there.

Of course, there's no doubt he could get some reasonable accommodation and work drive thru or cashier or something, if he's not ready for call center work. But so many call centers are utter garbage that they'd be happy to grab your buddy on account of how he has a pulse and can speak out loud. :P

Thanks for the insight! I was with one of the biggest call centers in the world and it was utter garbage. I can't think of one that isn't. We used to do some surveys from huge companies like cnn and we would have to call a certain demography of people so that the result of the question they asked were exactly what they wanted. Instead of asking xxx amount of people and getting a real honest survey, then they get on cnn and be like 80% of people agree to this shit. Literally a scum industry to be in. Everything is so bias.

Walmart as a greeter or maybe Costco as a greeter. Costco pays better I think and has better benefits

I don't go to Walmart often but I'm pretty sure they still hire them. Like I said Costco guy too. As greeter/guy that checks Costco ID. Pretty sure Costco starts everyone off at 12/hour
