got an offer to study in France...

I've never been to Europe ever in my whole entire life...

the City is at Metz...

those of you who live of have been to France, would you or would you not recommend someone who knows nothing about Europe??

i'm anti social but trying to fix that...

decision has to be made in like a week or i lose the chance

Haven't been to Metz, but spent three weeks in Paris a while back, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite what a lot of people will say, France is a beautiful country, with a rich history and culture. If you have an opportunity to travel when you're young, I recommend doing it.

Plus, Metz is very close to four other countries, so you'd have a good opportunity to visit other places, as well.

Well, if you're overly shy, and not interacting with people where you currently live, how would this be much different? See the world. We'd all be better off if everyone had exposure to other places and cultures.
