So I work out of town sunday night through Wednesday and then drive back home after work. My wifes niece is staying with us for the week (shes about 25) and I skype with my wife. Well I always let my dog sleep on the bed next to me, everytime I get on skype with my wife I hear her telling my dog to get off of the bed and making him get down. I know this might not sound like much if you've never had an animal you cared for before, but this drives me fucking crazy. I want to punch her in the face when I hear it. It's my dogs house and she's just a guest staying there. Am I the only one that feels this way?

A little crazy bruh. It's family, just suck it up and dealwith the fact that family often makes annoying houseguests and don't blow up over trivial shit. I promise, your dog doesn't care that much.

Ask her why she's kicking the dog off the bed. Tell her the dogs sleeping there because he misses you and the bed smells like you.

Yeah I suppose you're both right, family can be extremely annoying to deal with and it is only for a week.

Make her sleep on the floor and let the dog sleep in the bed.

Pretty sure you shouldn't do it.

Yeah, it's a nuisance for sure but if she's only staying a week, your dog will hardly notice and forget quickly once she's gone.
