I proposed to a Chinese citizen a little while back. She is currently in the united states and on an F-1 student visa on her OPT, but it will expire in August.

We want to get married (on paper) immediately in the united states and have our ceremony back in China (in early August).

From what we have read, it takes approximately 3 months to get permission to travel after filing with USCIS.

I am looking for any way that we could simply go to china for the ceremony and come back without getting heckled by any agency or the government. Or is there a better way. For example would it be better for her to go back to china now and file another visa or for me to file a fiancé visa. Or what if we get married here and she goes without filing anything and what visa would we apply for and would it be faster?

We are looking for fastest/safest way to have a ceremony in china in august and have her back in the united states legally right after.

only took me about a month to get my visa to china, and I think she should be able to return with her student visa....I would contact the consulate and ask them for advice

I currently have my visa to china.

Once her student-visa expires she wll no longer be able to travel back to the united states.

Probably your best bet would be to apply for a fiancee visa now, so that she has it in time for you to come back after the Chinese ceremony, at which point you could have an American marriage to make everything nice and legal.

https://www.uscis.gov/i-129f - There's the application form. You could also get married on paper immediately and start the process for her green card, but I'd imagine that's going to take too long.

there are sayings.. and phrases that really add to the chemistry of a relationship

if this mail order bride is from no-mans land.. your communication will get better.. but when u say things like "shoot the shit" they have no idea that means make small talk. cant think of another immediate example.

youll have to be using lame-mans terms...

and for "i have it, it's in the closet, second drawer down"

she says "I keep it".
