Hello everyone, Before I start writing anything I want to avoid any misunderstandings and clearly state that I'm currently not playing games for my living and even when I was a "PRO" I never really managed to earn enough money to fully support myself financially.

BUT.... I'm pretty sure I could! Sometimes the difference between everything and nothing is very small. If only I could understand and see things differently back then I think I could change my life completely.

After years of inactivity in the gaming scene and the constant (What If)s that I had all of this years led me to write this journal, hopefully letting others like me to change their life by understanding some things in time (which I couldn’t)

My #1 Tip:

being a pro means this is what you're going to do for your living and it demands a lot of efforts.

This is something that a lot of people (including me) were not able to understand when they started playing. just to make things more clear,
when you pick your career you're usually spending 4 years at college spending $100K+ (life expenses + tuition)

and then additionally you lose 4 years of salaries which means you lose ~ 2.5*12*4 = $120K and on top of it you are going to work your ass off for normal grades.

Overall you gonna lose over $200Ks and work your ass off just for a boring job you might not even want.

Now think how much added value you could gain as a team if you and your team mates were investing the same effort on your practice.
