beautiful style as well. i think 10k-15k sounds about fair for this helm even today. (basing it on what i've seen others sell stuff for)
though it might be outperformed by a good ds helm, it depends on setup i guess.

That may be true, but in terms of defense, I believe this is the highest possible. 941 is the maximum defense value—the highest you can find on a helmet in this game. Only the Guardian Crown has a slightly higher defense—by 3 points or so. I put it up for sale after D2R came out and received good offers back then, but I left Diablo, and everything I owned vanished from my mules. I also had Ogre Gauntlets with 20% IAS, 200% ED, and self-repair, among many other items. Anyway, I logged back in just for the sake of nostalgia. It’s true that some helmets with Deadly Strike look great, but nothing will ever dethrone this rare item for a high-defense build. All the best!
