It's probably better than items in 18level liberator guide. There it suggests using things + 1 to combat skills. While here you can take things for +1 to attack auras.

Possibly because of lvl 5 Blessed Hammer charges for pvp @18 lvl :D

Shield saves 2 skill points. Instead of things for + to attack skills, you can take +1 to attack auras. Perhaps the damage will be even more than in the Liberator Guide. Synergy works with charges. I checked. If you need to see for yourself.

at lvl18 you have 1 hard point in blessed hammer, this can be brought up to level 5+ with items (which also means you can cast it infinitely). a rare shield at level 18 can have +1 combat skill (benefitting hammer and a secondary attack skill if needed) & attributes & block & resists and thus outperforms this one by a mile

Well, even so. lvl 7 hammer... against lvl 5 hammer + 2 to atack auras/ 2 economy of skills. End nn in scepter 3 hammer 3 conc 10 fcr. need only 3 conc 10 fcr. Or you can made hybrid with this shield. Whots interesting...
