it does have that insane block! 20/30 - GG.
socketed it with 4x 40 ED / 20 lifer jewels.

This thing hits harder than HoZ. The ED will not show up on your DMG but trust me the off-weapon ED does apply directly to Smite.
This is PERFECT if you're looking to upgrade from your HOZ to a better shield.
You can also unsocket it and put whatever you want in there, but I like the max life / dmg.
The +45 all res is great vs casters.
And the block rate is insane when facing WW barbs or zealers.

Some consider the JSTOD to be the best Smiter shield, period...
